WORSHIP "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." John 4:24 Worship is a time when the body of Christ comes together to praise, pray, and dedicate our lives to God. Each Sunday we remember Christ's death and resurrection by participating in the Lord's Supper. We invite you to come and worship with us. The Sunset Ridge Church of Christ is a Bible-based church that seeks to worship God in spirit and truth. When you visit, you will notice that our worship involves the following: SINGING Our worship services include only a cappella singing. This is based on the practice of the early church which, as we believe, sang without instrumental accompaniment. We also believe this is consistent with the teaching of the Bible that we are to speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. We rejoice for our many blessings and give thanks to Jesus for being our Savior. (I Thessalonians 5:17) LORD'S SUPPER The Lord's Supper is observed on every Sunday, the first day of the week ... just as the 1st century Christians did. (Acts 20:7) PREACHING Preaching is from the Word of God, the Bible; preaching and teaching are regular activities. Here are many Sermon Outlines from our worship services.
